1,051,898 Minutes

1,051,898 minutes sounds like a LONG time.  But this morning when I pulled my little girl out of bed on her 2nd birthday, it seems like just the blink of an eye. I can remember like it was yesterday, waking up in the middle of the night to a crying baby who wouldn't let me get a full night's sleep for the entire first year of her life or her taking those first, less than graceful, steps.

This morning, after a full nights sleep, I didn't wake a cooing baby.  I woke a sassy little girl who loves to have her finger and toe nails painted, is starting to talk in sentences and wants to play baseball like her "Bubba."

I can already tell that this little fireball is going to be a handful when she gets older and I truly hope I never take a single minute, good or bad, for granted.  I pray for the strength and knowledge to be a true picture of what a Godly Man should be and go out of my way to lead her with my example.

I love you Kyliebug and I'm so thankful you're my little girl.
